Sat., Dec 07 2024 From: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Twist Yoga
Are you a yoga teacher who wants to learn techniques on how to build programs, attract and keep private clients, and support your teaching with strategy?
This is for you!
Building a curriculum: help your students get stronger, increase range of motion and prevent injury
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to utilize new concepts for sequencing and curriculum planning for your classes to help your students build muscle, increase range of motion and systematically progress the poses they are able to do over time.
You will be eligible for 3 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education for this workshop.
This special workshop is taught by Ali Matt, a 500- EYRT Yoga Teacher, Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms), and Kinstretch Certified full time teacher. Ali has a strong background in public classes, virtual classes, yoga teacher trainings, retreats, and a full roster of private clients. She understands the business and strategy behind being a teacher who meets her students where they are and helps them get to where they want to be.
After this workshop, you will understand how strength adaptations happen in the body, the multiple factors that influence strength, and best practices for effective strength training within a yoga class.
Utilizing these concepts in your classes allows students to feel and notice their increased strength and range of motion, leading to more class retention. This model of class planning also helps you to gain and retain private clients, giving them noticeable results.
